KEY FEATURES

Protection and Flexibility in One Unit

Multi-String Configurations

Available from 2 to 12 strings in a single enclosure — configured to your array layout before dispatch.

Type II Surge Protection

Class II SPD included as standard on all units — protecting your strings and inverter from lightning-induced transients.

String Monitoring Ready

Pre-wired monitoring ports allow string-level current monitoring integration without additional enclosure modification.

UV-Stabilised Enclosure

Polycarbonate enclosures with UV stabilisation resist Australian UV radiation and prevent embrittlement over time.

Replaceable Fuses

Industry-standard 15A 1000V DC string fuses are field-replaceable without specialist tools or equipment.

Quick-Connect Terminals

MC4-compatible input connectors and labelled DC output terminals for rapid, error-free on-site wiring.

APPLICATIONS

Deployed Across Every Array Type

Grid Applications

We prepare and manage grid connection applications with your DNSP — handling the technical documentation, protection settings, and correspondence on your behalf.

Commercial Multi-String Arrays

6–12 string configurations handle large commercial array sections, centralising protection and fusing at each sub-array.

Carport Solar Structures

IP65 rated and UV stable — ideal for carport canopy installations exposed to direct sunlight and weather.

Ground-Mount Systems

Deployed at string combiner level in ground-mount and agrivoltaic projects to aggregate multiple strings before the DC cable run.

BENEFITS

Flexible Configuration

2 to 12 string options mean a single product family covers every project size — simplifying procurement and spares.

03

Built for Australian Conditions

IP65 UV-stabilised enclosures and -25°C to +70°C operating range tested to withstand Australian temperature extremes and UV exposure.

FAQ

Questions & Answers

Our technical team can assist with array design integration questions and custom configuration requirements.
What string count configurations are available off the shelf?
Standard configurations are stocked in 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12-string variants. Non-standard string counts within the 2–12 range can be configured to order. Contact us with your array design for a recommendation.
Yes. All GreenBox Tee-Off Boxes use industry-standard 10×85mm 15A 1000V DC cylindrical fuses that are available from major electrical wholesalers Australia-wide and can be replaced with basic tools.
Yes. The Type II SPD modules are plug-in replaceable with a visual fault indicator that signals when replacement is required. Replacement modules are available directly from GreenBox.
Both mounting options are supported. Standard units include a rear mounting flange for direct surface or pole mounting. DIN rail mounting kits are available as an accessory for enclosure or plant room installation.
Yes. GreenBox Tee-Off Boxes are designed to meet the requirements of AS/NZS 5033 Installation and Safety Requirements for Photovoltaic (PV) Arrays, including individual string over-current protection and surge protection requirements.
